I have a tikka 6.5 saum with sportsmatch med rings and a sightron. The issue I have is cases hit the windage knob and won't eject properly. I'm looking for a different scope to fix this issue. I like the sightron a lot but not for this setup. Budget is $500-600, 30mm relatively light. It's a pure hunting rifle, I'd like to dial but I'd be ok with bdc as my comfort zone is 600. Thanks for looking and best wishes.

I'm thinking leupold vx3hd maybe?

Can confirm there's no issue with the vx series of leupolds, v4 series of zeiss or just about and capped windage on a tikka and sportsmatch t084.
If you really like the sightron, a rail and rings would raise it up, maybe enough for brass to clear the windage. You may need a stock pack or adjustable cheek piece to maintain cheek weld.

This is a frigging steal!
I'm running them on two tikkas right now with Talley mounts.

Does the sight have a focus knob on the left? if not rotate scope 90° left and use the windage for elevation and the elevation for windage. This happened with a friends 30 nosler, need to tip rifle slightly to the right when cycling bolt and the empty will fall out. He has a VX6 3-18 x50 installed on it.

I have a VX-3HD 4.5-14x40mm on my Tikka t3x superlite with Talley mounts and I think it is just about perfect for almost any situation.

^^ never thought about that but that's pretty slick for sure. Unfortunately it does have the side focus with illumination so it won't work.
Don't do that, that has to be one of the silliest reccomendations ever.
