Here is something unique for you "Tikka guys". The M695 predated the T3, but the similarities are evident. The M695 possesses the same short bolt throw, trigger and safety, and is visually quite similar. However it has a much more "solid" feel with a robust synthetic stock that has a nice palm swell (reminds me of a Sako). Has a nicely blued 24" barrel that shot cloverleafs with handloaded ammo. The magazine is METAL rather than polymer and the trigger is set at about 2 pounds. Has a unique (quite slick actually) side-release to drop the magazine from the action. Many Tikka aficionados in fact prefer the M695 to the T3

highly recommended!! I have a wood stocked 695 in 25-06 with a heavy barrel. Plain wood but this rifle is a Sako quality rifle and, as stated above, much more rifle than the T3's.

I need another Tikka like a hole in the head but I have a weakness for the 595/695's. Can't beat their smooth actions and great triggers. Are you interested in any trades?
