Got some good data last week. Wind was terribly good. Lol 15 mph sustained with gust up to 30 mph.
Got two hits a mile with the 338 lapua, we tried with our 6.5s but the ground was too wet to get a dust signature. We tore up with the 6.5s all the way to 1200 yards. It was a great day to get out for the first time since winter started. Highly recommend this place in eastern Ohio.

Just made my first trip to Thunder Valley in mid March. Great place to shoot! First time attempt hitting steel at one mile. 3 successful hits, (woohoo) in moderate - changing winds. Very pleased with the new 338 Lapua Mag. Running 88gr of H1000, pushing Nosler 300gr CC at 2750fps. As the course photo shows, you can work your way out checking and re-checking, wind and dope. Great place for LR rookies and pro's alike!
