I am selling 3 WWII USN fighting Knifes as a package deal for all 3.
I have purposely not cleaned these knifes. That is something the buyer may or may not want to do. If you do clean the I suggest you use soft rags and blue label 3 in 1 oil.
I have two (2) WWII USN MK 1 fighting knifes with a leather sheath, in excellent used condition.
These are WWII U. S. Navy Mark 1 as produced by The PAL Blade Co. It is in overall excellent condition.
I believe the sheath with the metal guards is not original.
This version has a pinned cast aluminum pommel. The Parkerized blade is marked "U.S.N. / MARK 1" on one side and "PAL RH-35 / Made in USA" on the other side. The handle is composed of leather washers with red, white, and black spacers at the top and bottom.
Reference: "U. S. Military Knives, Bayonets & Machetes, Book III" by M. H. Cole, pages 74 -81.
I am also selling a Rare Unmarked Camillus Mk1 "No.7" Fighting Knife. These were issues to the USN in WWII.
What makes this knife so rare is that it is the Unmarked Model No. 7 and for some reason it was manufactured by Camillus with an Unmarked M3 Trench Knife Cross Guard. They may have ran out of MK1 Cross Guards during production and used unmarked M3 Trench Knife Cross Guards as replacements.
The Unmarked Camillus Mk1 "No.7" Fighting Knife is listed Cole's Book III, page 77. Please see the pictures to view that page.
This Knife is sharp and has not been cleaned while I have owned it. The USN Sailor's name is stenciled on the back of the sheath, (F G STEARNS).
My price is $195.00 shipped
