Knowing what I know now, I'd check em all if you had it as an option.

Not till I absolutely have to, if ever. I live in MT for a reason.

So I didn't choose any. But 2, 3 and especially choice 4 made me laugh a little.

I'm with you Broz the only thing is. If I was a betting man sometime in the future it will be required on all Federal Land, National Forests, BLM, School Trust Land & State Land. They did it to us on waterfowl change to all nontoxic shot. I can understand it on Wetlands but not on Field hunting Geese, since I can Pheasant hunt the same field with Lead shot here in Iowa for now. Now for choice 4 reliable expansion at long range, this is one area the bullet manufactures should be working on a high B.C. Copper bullet with reliable expansion for long range hunting, this is what I believe the market is missing & if any manufactures are listening could be a great opportunity. What got me thinking was this chart and penetration on various hunting bullets in 6.5mm bullets. Good Shooting & Hunting

The only reason I would switch from lead would be because of some government regulation. Until then though I'm going to stick with lead. I will just make sure to not lick my bullets before seating them.

I just heard today that the only lead refining plant in the U.S. is going to have to shut down due to Obama's EPA REGULATIONS, lead is going to have to be imported for bullets, batteries etc. Imagine the freight cost on heavy lead prices will probably jump considerably.... Lead free may be our only option. And that really bites I hate lead free....

They are already making a movement to keep us all off any form of government land anyway. I think we have bigger problems. It is time to take a stand, enough is enough.

+1 !!!
no body in Washington will stand up to the liberal machine....

I'm fine with my lead bullets but I'm intrigued by gilding metal bullets. Meh, I dunno. I'm not one to dismiss exciting new technologies quickly
