Tenebraex covers

My rifle finally came in about 2 weeks ago after nearly a 6 month wait. It has the NX8 scope mounted on it that comes with tenebraex covers. But it seems like the the plastic "hinge" supports at the top of the covers are bent forward. Therefore it only clicks tight at the bottom 1/4-1/3 of the cap. Doesn't seat flat the whole way up. Both covers do this. Any idea what's wrong? I'm guessing they are not designed to work this way. I emailed tenebraex but since I might not hear from them for a day or two I'd also ask here. Thanks!

Some of mine are the same way, you have to really push on them to get them to seal all the way around.

That sucks. Seems cheap for how much they cost. I'll see what they reply with. Maybe send over some pictures to them.
