If memory serves me correctly, the new owner, Gregg Ritz, is the reason TC was sold to S&W to begin with.

Gregg Ritz used to own TC and is who sold them to S&W….
Ahh, now he is buying it back after it has been stripped of the machines and workers that S&W wanted. I'm sure he will have to retool and build a new plant also. I guess we will see what becomes of all of this.

Only took 3 years to finalize a sale. I did read the sale of the "brand" along with tooling so 
. The announcement stated 2025 launch and that is impossible unless they have machines, tooling etc to bolt down in a manufacturing plant. Plus, was TC in separate facility? Impossible to get environmental permits for a new enterprise in this short timeline for 2025 launch plus having production lines meeting QC requirements. You cannot install new equipment unless permits are approved prior to equipment arriving on site. So IMO, it is likely the sale was purchase of a facility which is simply a name change. This makes sense from environmental permitting requirements. This allows complete re-evaluation of products, production lines efficiency, design, engineerIng, marketing etc. A 2025 launch becomes doable.
