I upgraded from the original EL Range to the TAs because of archery hunting. Right hand button and ranging at archery yardages. The glass is noticeably better. The onboard ballistics is great for shots out to 500yds. I don't have confidence in the onboard ballistics at longer ranges just because some factors aren't taken into account. Does everything well.
