I'm not, but I have some family in the Nevada area. Any idea how the deer hunting is in the area?

Had bad luck this last season on public land. I'm looking around now to see if I can pick up some hunting acres nearby (no luck yet).

Pretty sure that's not far from where I'm at as I recall seeing a herd when out riding the motorcycle.

had better luck this last season (winter 2016), bagged a button buck in Flag Spring and a doe on a buddy's private spread. neither were over 100 yards, so nothing spectacular other than finally getting meat in the fridge.

Hey Kansas wood guy. I was at a wedding in Ft. Scott last year. My wife has family in Nevada Mo. and Ft. Scott. If you know any of the Ramsey's, that's her family. I'll be heading down to Nevada for bowhunting this year.
