So today I picked up a new unfired Styer HS 50 M1. Don't ask. It has a 24" barrel. Probably great for stopping cars.
Couldn't pass it up for the deal. I like 50s but liked the ATACR and Spurh mount more. My inclination is a 24" BMG seems like a contradiction. I know the 33" guns are supposed to be 1/2 moa/very accurate. Does anyone know or have any experience with the Styers in 24" or any 24" 50 BMG?
I obviously want to shoot it if it's viable. But not at the expense of making it a used gun. Advice?
