M1 Garand question?

Have M1 with Blank Adapter.
Does it just need to be replaced with flash suppressor or brake to fire a live ammo?

Nope, just don't have the blank adapter on the rifle when using live ammo.

The blank adaptor has to be replaced with the standard gas cylinder lock.

The plug on the gas tube holds it on I believe? Same for the flash suppressor. Garand barrels aren't threaded at the muzzle.

This Garand is threaded at the muzzle.
It's an American Legion M1 used for ceremonies.
