I had SJA spin a barrel up for me as well. Expensive build… every time I called to work out my specs, always had a good experience. This was over a year ago, so apparently old owner.
Got my barrel for a Sherman, no issues. Gun shoots good. Killed a nice bull in NM, won a local shooting comp with it as well.
It is quality components and glass though.

If you cerakote an action DO NOT coat the raceways and you'll be fine.

Yes, besides the rifle business in Baker Fl, ALTUS also own a great range NW of Baker. Lots of steel targets for rifles and pistols out to 1200 yds. Probably 15+ separate ranges. They post a schedule on line indicating when they are hosting tournaments and military training.
