stock for new ruger

First , Thanks for the membership,I am an avid hunter and shooter from south Ms. I have recently purchased a ruger American predator rifle in .308 cal. excellent shooter.The only problem is the flimsy factory stock,I considered Boyds stock for a replacement. What is your opinion on there stocks. Does anyone else make an aftermarket stock for that rifle? Also which of the boyds stocks would you recommend?

Boyds stocks are some of my favorites. Especially considering the price. Depending on what action you use it for you might not even need to do pillar bedding. The boyds stock comes with everything you need for a drop in fit on the ruger american and theyre the ONLY aftermarket stock available. I myself like the pro varmint model but its not available for the ruger so my next choice would be the prairie hunter.
