I recently purchased a Remington 700 in 300 Win Mag that already had a 7 inch aluminum picatinny rail installed. On the underside of the rail is stamped RL700. I cannot determine what the brand is or if it is possibly a 20 MOA rail. Can anyone help me determine what I've got? I.e. The dimensions/length of angle for a 20 MOA base vs that of a 0 MOA base?

I agree. I 20MOA base is pretty easy to recognize. Lay it on a flat surface and look at its profile. It is got a gain in MOA you'll see it. My guess would be that the RL700 designates Remington 700 Long Action.

Did you ask where or whom you bought the rifle from?
