There appears to be no RS Magnum anywhere, maybe it's sitting right next to the RL-26.

Anyway, here's the question, does Staball HD have about the same energy as Magnum,
same muzzle velocities ? I know the burn rate is close, but that's not the question here.

More on StaBall HD & the 6.5-06

I shot some groups & got some Magneto Speed chrony results

Staball HD is a ball powder. It contains nitro glycerin that would provide added "energy". Ram Shot Magnum is also a ball powder containing nitro glycerin. I would guess the energy provided by both would be equal per pound per square inch. My 6.5-06 loads fill the case to 100%. using Staball HD, I could probably boost pressures using R-S Magnum, but I would expect energy per unit weight (heat & light) would be equal.

I just use the Hodgdon reloading site and checkmark staball hd and magnum to generate results bases on cartridge/bullet selections.

Gathered this up from the Hodgdon website.

Couple of these data points used different primers, but otherwise appear to be a like for like comparison with bbl length and bullet.

Looks like there's not a whole lot of difference between the two in terms of pressure per grain of powder and velocity per grain of powder, particularly in the big 30.
