I was pleasantly surprised when doing an installation for my cousin amd needing to replace his screws buggered up with a slot screwdriver, to find my local Ace hardware store in Lewiston had an entire bank of assorted screws specifically for guns

I used a dremel and then just a piece of sandpaper to knock any burrs off if there was any. Never had one hang up when inserting them.

Good tip—thank you. I need a single 8-40 and will look at local Ace Hardware stores to try to find one
