I'm putting up for sale my Custom Mauser 98 FN D'armes de Guerre Herstal-Belgique in a High-Tech Stock by Mark Banser in 35 Whelen. Weights 8.625 lbs. Comes with the original Wood Stock although that one has the military non-opening bottom metal.

#20 250 gr. Swift A Frames in 1X Fired Brass
#20 250 gr. Kodiak Bullets in New Brass
#30 Speer Grand Slam 250 gr. Bullets
I believe I have (2) Boxes of the Barnes 225 Gr. TSX's on hand, but I'll have to find them?
I have approximately 231 rounds fired through the gun, it was bought used but in As New Condition therefore I do not know the barrel, trigger or safety manufacture. I will say the barrel cleans up super fast and the trigger is excellent and have the utmost faith in the working condition of this firearm, and it has been throughly tested for function by me numerous times in the field and at the bench with zero failures or safety issues.

$2,800.00 Shipped to your FFL dealer. USPS Money Orders Only.

As most of you know everything I own shoots very well, this gun is no exception. It only has a little wear around the out edge of the barrel of the TI coating, not into the metal. The Scope has a ding in the bell housing that is approximately 1/2" in length and is unaffected to the scope and kept it's zero even after it happened six or seven years ago from contacting a rock as I slipped stepping over a log while hunting Elk. I will send a H.D. Photo close up of those two flaws to anyone interested in buying the gun.

Re: Custom FN Belgian Mauser 98 in 35 Whelen Swaroski PH 1.5-6x42

These scopes now cost as much as the rifle alone, and are a straight tube (1-6x24) vs. 1.5-6x42. I doubt $2,600.00 for a new Swarovski Z6(i) would put down an animal any quicker then what I have for sale with this gun. You'd need a engineering degree to notice the difference IMO, basically it's like getting the gun for free?

I know this isn't a 800 or even a 600 yard Elk gun, but 400 yards is very reasonable and for the vast majority of Eastern Woods hunters or the Midwest the 35 Whelen has long been a top of the food chain round.

Must be seen to be appreciated not only the quality of the workmanship, but the killing power of this round.

All ready to go hunting and the ammo to do it. Heck, it's even sighted in as well!

Re: Custom FN Belgian Mauser 98 in 35 Whelen Swaroski PH 1.5-6x42

Great deal here if anyone is interested. Add up the some of the parts and it's rather cheap considering it's all custom and is just as accurate as it looks.

Re: Custom FN Belgian Mauser 98 in 35 Whelen Swaroski PH 1.5-6x42

A 225 gr. Barnes TSX at 2650 fps in no slouch, so why this is still here is beyond me! Two stocks, a awesome Scope, in a light weight hunting rifle put together by Mark Banser in his High Tech Stocks.

The bottom metal costs $400.00 alone!

$2,600.00 for everything! Add up all the stuff included and the parts involved, great deal! Only thing missing is a sling!

Re: Custom FN Belgian Mauser 98 in 35 Whelen Swaroski PH 1.5-6x42

I did find (1) unopened box of #50 Barnes 225 gr. TXS FB bullets just today that will go with the package deal..... That's a lot of stuff if you add it all up.

Re: Custom FN Belgian Mauser 35 Whelen Swaroski PV 1.5-6x42 $2,600.00

I just found your post of the 35 Whelen for sale.
This has been pretty much my dream rifle for 2 years.
Would you have anything in mind that you might consider a trade or that rifle?
