WTS Savage 111 Long Range Hunter chambered in 6.5x284 Norma (it's on a long action). Comes from savage with adjustable cheek rest, and muzzle brake. Barrel is 24" with a 2" brake, however the brake can be locked open or closed. I leave the brake closed as it gains about 30fps, and the 6.5x284 doesn't kick much at all. I swapped the hinged floor plate for a factory Savage DBM. Has Savage Accustock and Accutrigger. The Accustock has that tacky/rubbery type feeling, however has brushed off in a couple areas where I had it in a Kifaru Gun Bearer and it rubbed against my hip belt. Lastly, the muzzle brake is currently seized up meaning I can't get it to go to the open position with just my hand turning. I read this can happen if you don't clean, and open and close the actual brake after shooting. I personally wanted it sealed to limit gas escape and to increase velocity to make it as close to a 26" barrel as I could. I have read with cleaning and some Kroil oil it will open right up, but I have not tried for reason mentioned above (rifle has been cleaned, just not the brake). Rifle has less than 100 rounds through it (closer to 85). I have already sold most of my Lapua Brass, however I May still have about 200 Norma Brass in storage that has been prepped, weighed, and sorted. I will have to confirm the brass, however 6.5x284 brass has been easy to get lately. Rifle only, bipod and scope not for sale. $875.00 shipped and insured.
I have Redding competition die set for it as well for $100.00. I have DNZ game reaper tactical 20MOA one piece mounts (shown in pictures) for $90.00 if you have a 1" scope you will be using. This model has the built in 20MOA can't and the 4 screws per ring vs 2.
