That's a good question most folks do not understand.The 40* shouldered Ackley requires a.004"shorter chamber.Or as most smiths do... a crush fit on new brass.......

Thank you for your clarification post. I sent him a pm stating that I would assume that they would not work for an A.I. chamber, and I suggested he check with his gunsmith to know with certainty.
