Excellent condition - only finish flaws are a worn spot, about 3/4" square, in the barrel finsh at about 6:00 a few inches forward of the stock, some light finish wear at the muzzle, and a few light scratches on the front surface of the pistol grip.
Only asking $990 plus actual shipping cost. These usually cost much more.

Twist, weight and is the finish bluing or a Cerakote/Duracoat type finish?

It weighs 6# 15 oz with the rings as shown. I would describe the finish as a matte bluing. It looks the same as another factory new Howa 1500 I have. OTOH, the missing finish at the muzzle looks more like a coating. I measured the twist rate as 1:12"
