Just bought a Can for my 7mm prc Bergara carbon HMR Wilderness,24" Barrel ,my smith was telling me that you can find the sweet spot just by the pressure you apply when tightening? Any thoughts,use 180 eld match at 2950,and 2.4 5.0 std., Pete

Does the accuracy change by the amount of torque you put on the can ,as I was told when tightening too tight and getting it off is next to impossible without damage to the Suppressor,as He had to send it back with the barreled action and it had to be cut off, they did give her a new one, Pete

I would be looking for a new smith if one told me there was a magical "sweet spot" when screwing on a can.

Tighten it tight and make sure it stays tight, that is the sweet spot, and adjust your load as needed for the precision you require.

I was just wondering as I had a Area419 4slot on it and accuracy was fantastic at 2950fps with SD's that ran from 2.5 to 5.0 fps and 3 shot groups that have averaged at 3/8 and under.Was tired of my friends not wanting to shoot by me because of the blast that brake had,Pete
