Sightron Big Sky - Need advise

I've got a guy that is wanting to sell me a Sightron Big Sky SII 6.5x20 50mm wit this reticle on it.

He's wanting $600 for it and it's never been out of the box. I'm unfamiliar with Sightron so I'm turning to the LRH nation for direction along with the good and the bad.

I do mostly hunting and stating to dabble more and more into the long range shooting game. I'm looking at mounting this on my 264wm Remington Sendero II.
