Back when hunting them, as a young man……that was my preferred shot placement! memtb

One year, bowhunting, I made a terrible shot at last light. We waited until the next morning to track.
No need. The buck made it about 20 yards with a blood trail like pouring it out of a 5 gallon bucket.

A femoral artery cut will bleed out SUPER fast.

But I would never advocate that shot.
