Shooting school in Nevada?

Front Sight isn't far from Las Vegas. They went bankrupt, bought/acquired by Prairie Fire. Appears that their classes are scheduled. Excellent facility and classes. Give them a call

Come up to ely and shoot, I'm sure we can get you dialed to at least 800 yards so we don't have a repeat of what happened on the bull hunt... lol

ALL NEVADA MEMBERS SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOUR STATE GAME MANAGERS ~
As a Non resident who has been lucky to draw a tag a couple times in your great state your wildlife department is the best! 2023 48 hour turnaround after draw to get results is now the gold standard in the west!
Other western states have no more excuses.

For Nevada, you could look into places like Front Sight Firearms Training Institute or even local ranges that might offer specialized classes. They often have great instructors and good facilities for long-range shooting. Make sure to check their reviews and see what kind of experience other shooters have had.

ahhh, never trusted the mustache dude. went out there maybe 3 or so times decades ago and it was a recycled program like many courses but the first time the instructors were decent. last time it seemed like they had hired people off the firing line from the last group of students to instruct and read the course out loud.
Been to many different classes in a few states from lots of different people and Front Sight was the only place I've been in a class and people had to get life flighted out. actually happened the last two times I was there, end of the last day, 1911 to the leg both times.
saw a guy try to use a nagant for their intro rifle class the second trip, he made it half a day.

Yeah, Front Sight became more and more shaky as the years passed. My 1st course in 2005 was taught by a former SF trooper. Good instruction.

The Front Sight instructor should have never permitted a Moisin Nagant rifle to be used on the range.
I was going to take a long range shooting course with my RUGER 6.5 CM RPRn but decided I would learn very little I had not already learned in competition.

A google search shows this school near Reno. My Uncle and I are considering checking them out. Anyone have any experience with them?

Year old post but…. I did their 2-day long range class and had a great time. They let me dial in two rifles up to 1000 yards. I did the optional 1-mile shoot at end of second day and it was fun too. I'd recommend them for sure.
