Looking for information from those that have used IMR4166 to reload for the 308 Winchester using 175 grain SMK to please share with me what loads worked best for them
Are reloading for a 24" 1/10 ROT Savage 10FCP with Accustock and Accutrigger
Have Forester FL BR sizing die, Redding BOSD, and a Lee Collet die
And a Forester MM BR seating die
New Lapua Brass, Federal LRP, Winchester LRP, CCI LRP and Fed GMM LRP.
I have other very good powders for the 308W like HCFE223, IMR4064 and reserve my RL15 for my smokeless 10ML-II and I have no real use for my Imr4166 so might as well put it to use.

I have just started playing with it. The accuracy has been excellent. Speed nothing super excitable, but good. I'm pretty sure I've only played with it topped by 155s, and 175s, and I do know I definitely want to play with it more. It was that good with the few loads I have done this far.

I tried some when it first came out several years ago and got good groups with it behind 168gr amax. Had hoped it would work well with 223 too but it didn't so I went back to rl15 .
