hi all first time on this site seabang why like to fish love to shoot I was a pro hunter for 20 yrs great job then got a wife and kids you know how it goes now all grown up and gone now so back into hunting again what a change after 25yrs so many changes. started back at the range 100m to 500 m it took some time to get my eye back in. now looking to go long range looking at a custom 300 wm or 7mm08 I need a little advice on this as gunsmiths here want two arms and a leg or your first born to do a build any help would be appreciated thanks PS I am from Australia you know sun sand shrimp

Glad to see you're re-engaging back into hunting, esp. in LR.

Of your chambering choices, I'd go with the .300 WM esp when launching .210/.215gr Berger VLDs and you have yourself 1000+ yard wild game harvester. :D
