SD 2013 Deer/Pheasant

Anyone have suggestions for a reasonable trespass fee or public land hunt for deer & pheasant in South Dakota in Nov. 2013 ? Will be hunting NE Wyoming starting Nov.17th, so would like to hunt SD on the way there.

Sd has just a few counties that open earlier, Mellette county is probably the best bet for early season. Lots of walk in area...some of it is pretty good too. Gregory co, might be a good one too and have more pheasant.The rest of the counties will either be a tough draw or start later.

Thanks. I hunted Gregory county a long time ago and was a great hunt. Just seems a little pricey now with local outfitters. I will look into Mellette county.
