Savage short action

I'm looking for an inexpensive savage short action (no axis) to build a donor rifle with. I'm willing to buy a whole rifle that is beat-up, shot out, ugly, whatever. This will be a project rifle. I'm not looking to spend $500 or $600....much less than that. Let me know what you have. Thanks.
