Savage model 99A barrel, and factory wood. A few years ago, I had a project to have a shot out 243 rebored and chambered to 7-08. the bbl took forever to come back from rebore, and in the meantime, I installed a SS Lilja 7mm bbl and replaced the wood. When finally completed it would shoot under 1/2" much to my amazement. It's a project I wouldn't want to ever try again. The old bbl is now .284 with a 9" twist. It still needs a chamber. The exterior is about 70% blue, with no major pits, it would clean up nice if refinished. Bore is now bright and looks good. The factory wood is nothing to brag about and has some cracks that would need to be glassed but could be refinished and used in a pinch. All this fun stuff for 185 bucks and I'll pay shipping. Same price with or without the wood. Pay Pal as a gift or friend to friend, or bank or postal money order.
