I think you need to look harder, 4D sells savage barrels for 380, at 26 inches which includes chambering, but anything over 26 is 20 per inch, plus the break, and installation.so how is this too high???

It's got a good many rounds through it that's why. I sold him the barrel on a rifle a year or two ago and it had atleast 100+ rounds on it. What he is forgetting to mention is how many rounds he put through it and how it was taken care of.
