For sale is a sako that I took in on a trade. This gun has a hs precision stock, a sako l691 action with nightforce 20moa rail, 24" Lilja stainless fluted barrel with blended radial brake, and a jewel trigger.

Story behind the rifle.
The rifle is a local rifle that I have been around for many years. The rifle used to shoot 210 bergers in a ⅜" ragged hole. Then the owner noticed that the rifle was starting to open up groups. So a homemade bedding job was performed. That is the chips on the stock. The rail screws will more than likely need to be retapped, as one of the screws sheared off and stuck in the action. The owner chased it deep into the rabbit hole trying to fix the accuracy. The barrel has probably 7-800 rounds thru it. The barrel had a carbon ring that has been removed. After all is said and done the rifle will still shoot ¾@100yds. It would be a great hunting rifle as is but will need a new barrel down the road. Or would be a great project rifle for someone. The sako action is super smooth and the jewel trigger is clean and crisp.

Would like to get $1200obo or definitely interested in trades for scopes, remington 700 la chassis, or whatever you think I might need

Open to offers on this. The rifle is still a shooter. It hasn't had any problems running 3 screws in the rail. The rifle has very little recoil
