I purchased this revolver new in 2018 for a carry piece to take into the mountains on a family vacation. It has roughly a few hundred rounds through the pipe that were almost all light cowboy reloads. For the most part, I ran low recoil loads for practice and put together some stout 335g hard cast for bear country. Only 40 of the Cast Performance 335's were actually shot and they were not dangerous overloads.

$950 gets you everything:
  • Revolver and original box/paperwork
  • Dies that are practically new
  • 184 pieces of PRIMED brass purchased new
  • 160 Cast Performance 335gr hard cast bullets ($40 a box internet prices)
I'll ship to an FFL dealer and offer to pay ½ the cost. The reloading stuff would ship separate from the firearm and FedEx rules allow primed brass to ship with no restrictions (unlike loaded ammo or primers alone).

I'd be happy to do a video call for a live showing of the piece so you can be sure of what you're getting and answer any additional questions.

If interested shoot me a PM with your name and contact info with a good call time and we'll go from there.

This is a really nice firearm and every now and again I pull it out of the safe to admire it but since the mountain vacation I have not shot it and have other projects I'm contemplating. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this gun and if you're wondering if it kicks hard with the short barrel the answer is a resounding YES with the 335's but otherwise a ***** cat with the cowboy load.

Sweet setup...I love my 4" barreled .44 Mag Redhawk. I also run the CP bullets in my bear defense handloads, and the Ruger frame is is strong as it gets! GLWS!

Okay - been asked a couple times about trades.....here's my thoughts on trades:

I'm contemplating a double stack 1911 in 45acp but have not yet found anything to really drive me nuts. The Springfield prodigy is just awesome but only comes in 9mm and I have had my share of 9's so it's hard to get excited about that caliber.

I'm good in the rifle department so the next addition is a pistol and the double stacks really have my attention at the moment.

Hope this helps....Thanks for asking.
