Surely someone has a need for a rifle like this. It is a tack driver and needs a good home. I thought my asking price was reasonable because I have considerably more expense into it.It even comes with the brass and dies you need. The brass alone would sell for about $200.

Yes. I had planned on replacing the barrel when my Smith pulled the stock barrel to square the receiver. However, he said that the chamber/barrel looked really nice after bore scoping it and suggested I give it a try before spending the $$ on a replacement. So I had him true up the action and barrel and install a Holland brake. I am glad that I did, because during break-in with factory ammo it was shooting very nice. My plan was to change barrels after this one was shot out.

No, but that is really disturbing to me. It was built by Tumbleweeds in Texas and that is the target image he sent me after he completed the build. I will replace that image with one I actually shot. And you can bet I am going to have a word with him.

No problem I was not trying to give you a hard time, I have been searching for a 300RUM and looking at RHR site off and on along with their GB auctions and noticed the target. That is to bad if Tumbleweeds really did that to you. I will look forward to seeing your groups from the rifle. Thanks

On the contrary, I am glad you said something. The last thing I want to do is mislead anyone. Here are some actual groups I fired at 200 yards during barrel break-in. Break-in was done using Remington Managed-Recoil 150 Grain Pointed Soft Point Core-Lokt. I am currently thinking about pulling the ad because I think posting that target has shot my credibility.
