I realize this rifle isn't the norm for long range hunting, but thought I'd list it here. Up for your consideration is my Remington 700 chambered in .223. This rifle shoots excellently with several different bullets, notably the 68 grain bthp. Rifle is the SPS "tactical" version with the 1:9 twist barrel.
Details:
Remington 700 with 16.5" varmint contour threaded barrel with factory thread protector.
Barreled action and bottom metal are professionally cerakoted flat dark earth.
It sits in a B&C varmint/tactical stock with aluminum bedding block.
Wyatt bottom metal using detachable box mags.
Trigger is factory and breaks nicely at approximately 3 pounds.
Rifle has 240 rounds through it, and it cleans up well with Borerech carbon and copper solvents. I simply do not shoot it often so I thought I'd list it to see if there is any interest.
Asking $795.00 for the package with two mags-one five round and one ten round.

I will sell the barreled action and bottom metal together for $655.00.
