Remington 700 Thumbhole Laminate

This absolutely breaks my heart but it has to go. I have done several of these and I think this was my best one yet. This is thumbhole target laminate stock in Apache Gold. This is a unfinished stock from Richards MicroFit. It's inletted for a Remington 700. I have spent some time opening and shaping the thumbhole, grip, and have even cleaned up all the machining marks. I have cleaned and made the lines sharp and crisp. I also have rounded the forend. The barrel channel is cut at 1.25 inches. (If the barrel channel is to wide, you can bed the channel and make it look like another layer of laminate). There is a 1" Pachmayr Decelerator pad installed. This will be perfect for anyone looking to fit a bull barrel, a heavy tapered barrel or someone who loves a project. Mr. Joel Russo is and continues to mentor me and I would be more than happy to provide pictures of past stocks I've completed. I am selling this stock unfinished for $200 or finished for $275. You pay shipping. I am very negotiable, however it's not free.

Good looking stock.. it takes a lot of time/work to get a Richard's MicroFit stock to look like that.

For those of you who need too see the potential. Here's what it looks like unfinished. Couple of things to keep in mind, this stock is past the point of needing fancy tools to finish. Richards and I have done that for you. You need some sandpaper and tru oil and you"ll have a something to be proud of. Also, this stock is ready to bed your 700 action. It may need some tweaking but it's ready. Lastly, this stock takes 12 weeks to get. The cost is $250 off the mill. There's already been over $100 in labor. Happy 4th of July!
