Yes...i believe you are correct about it being a Boyd's...
It may also be a 'featherweight' stock...
Ordered one for a ruger....had to do a little fitting...
Cut the lenght down 1"....took the squareness out of the bottom of the stock to give it not only better feature but also knocked off some weight....reshaped the thumbhole to fit smaller hands....and a few other things.......it actually is a nice lightweight stock now....
