For sale is a Special Edition Remington 700 for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Model is the XCR (Extreme Conditions Rifle). Chambered in 300 SAUM, which has proven itself as a precision long range round and a consistent North American game stopper.

Features include stainless steel barreled action with TriNyte Satin coating, jewelled bolt, and all weather stock with the RMEFs official camo pattern and logo. This stock is much more dense than the plastic SPS stock and very stable/stiff. Other accessories/stock options available.

It is not new, but fired less than 30 rounds. Started with 80 rounds of Nosler ammo and still have over 50 left, I'll have to check on exact quantity when I get to the shop.

I'll see if I can look up the serial number. I would guess late 2000's. It's been around a while, just not used much.

I dont get many opportunities to hunt big game. Here in North Texas I hunt pigs mostly and just use a 223.

I get just under 1 MOA with the 165 partitions. I have a reduced recoil load that my wife shoots with 165 grain ballistic tips over an 80% +/- load of H4895 and it stays under 1.5 MOA. Still very effective on Texas deer and hogs.

It's a solid rifle, and I really enjoy it, but I just dont hunt anything that requires the SAUM.
