Remington 700 mount?

I ordered a Bergara B-15 HMR 6.5 CM and an Arken SH4 6-24x50 GEN 2 FFP MIL 34mm tube scope. Bergara says I need a Remington 700 mounts with 6-48 screws.

There seem to be a lot of options. How do I know what to choose? One piece? Two pieces?

Oh, and how do I know what the optimal scope height should be?

Nevermind. I read the rifle manual (useless) and the scope manal (also useless). Then I just let Google do it. Ordered a Leupold Backcountry cross-slot scope base and a set of Vortex Optics Precision matched 34mm rings at 1.26" height. I hope this works... or I'll just send 'em back.

If you have an adjustable comb you'll be fine. If not I those rings will probably be a little high. In most cases, low rings are right for 34mm with 50mm objective. Not a problem though.

I guess I'll find out on Friday. If they're too high, I'll just send them back.

Good job. I would probably recommend low rings though. Backcountry is a good mount. I have used several. You should be fine with the adjustable comb, though.

Let us know what you think when the parts come in but I'm thinking that'll be a little bit high.
