anyone have any powder suggestions for this bullet been using benchmark and 50 gr ballistic tips and can only get it down to .75" moa lookin for a little better rifle has 1-14" twist@26" hvy bbl and using lapua brass ,gmm 210 as always thanks in advance for all yall great advice

Have you tried Varget or 4064? My 12 twist Savage shoots 55gr Sierra Gamekings very well over 36.0gr of Varget. I have test loads in 4064 but haven't tried them yet.

I have very good luck with 41 grns of h-414 and 50 grn flatbase in my 22-250 varmint barrel savage in the same twist

I use IMR 4064 with a 52 BTHP in a 12 twist Savage. It's fairly cheap and pretty easy to find in my area.

I have found that 22-250 chambers typically have long throats and tend to shoot their best loaded to much longer than book-specified OAL. The Berger seating depth test has been particularly useful to me in this regard. I did, however, have to modify the test because the lighter .224 bullets are not long enough to reach the rifling.

Here is the load work that I did with my 22-250:

I worked with four powders. RL-17 was the star of the show, bit I had good results with the others, too.

3031 or 2015BR at 3550fps with the bullet seated .002" off the lands. I get quarter inch five shot groups with the Sierra 1365 bullet in my Savages.

I get my best accuracy with Varget, closely followed by BM-2 with either 50gr or 55gr pills.
Have also heard people are getting very good results with 8208, have not tried that powder yet.
YMMV.

Cheers.
