Hello all LRH
I stop by Avery warehouse today in Memphis, I saw something I never saw before. The R26 gunpowder, there are 2 jug of 8 lbs, I bought both , I can wait to load this powder with 124 gr hammers bullets to my 6.5 PRC. I am really curious what the speed will be.

I think you will be disappointed with the velocity with rl 26. It is awesome with the heavier bullets (147 &156). Hammers will probably like a faster burning powder, especially a light bullet like the 124's. Congrats on the lucky find tho.

I'm getting 3114 with RL 26 and the 156. It's on the verge of top end for the load but it's good. Just shot this whitetail this weekend with them

I have 4 8lbs I would sell 2 to anyone needing it for what I had in it but it would have to be local pickup in northwest Missouri. I don't need to sell just trying to help somebody out
