Reasonable expectations of accuracy from CDL SF ?

I recently picked up a lightly used rem 700 CDL SF in 270WSM.. from what i can tell previous owner played with the trigger a bit and thats about it. Says its seen about 3 boxes of factory ammo.


With a bedding job and a bit of trigger work, can i expect a decent shooter out of this rifle?

I have a sendaro 7 rem mag that i did a bedding job and put a timney 510 in... and that thing shoots .3 when i do my best.

Similar expectations?

if you are getting it to a consistent .5 moa with a screamer group in the .2's to .3's you are doing just fine with a cdl or bdl. It's a bit of a crap-shoot sometimes though; my brother is fighting a factory remmy right now he will likely put aside and re-barrel when he feels like it as it doesn't shoot well enough...

just started playing with it

it seems to shoot 2 fairly close then huck the 3rd

gonna try some new Norma brass and see what happens

was using some HEAVILY reloaded win cases
