Re-Barrel 6.5 Creedmoor Question

Some day my Ruger Hawkeye Predator 6.5 Creedmoor will need to be re-barreled. Question.... What calibers can I turn this barrel into ? Might not be worth it re-barrel it. Thanks. MD

You could send it to JES reboring (he's done several for me) and have a 7mm-08, 308, 338 Federal or 358 Win.

If you have enough Shank left on the barrel just about any other 6.5 standard bolt face cartridge that will fit in your action, but if you're talking different/larger calibers as in reboring the existing barrel best talk to someone that does this ? in my experience its just more cost effective in the long run to buy a new barrel.

Yep I heard the Hawkeye model is an weird barrel type. So not sure what I can do with a cal re-barrel job. I might need too just replace with with the same type and cal barrel. MD
