It's been two years since I was given the opportunity to review the R.A.T.S system developed by Dog-Gon-Hit.

Rapid Access Targeting System (R.A.T.S.) By Dog-Gon-Hit Review

This piece of equipment has found constant use since I received it.

With a sand bag properly placed on the rail, its great for sighting-in and load work up for my newly acquired Cold SAA or any other hand gun for that matter.

Initial sight-in and load work up for rifles. I can hold, after my tinkeritus mods, pretty much MOA out to 300 yards with rifles of any caliber whose weight is less than 12 pounds and not barrel heavy. It can't be left unattended with a 20 pound barrel heavy rig.

It's definitely packable (for the pack animal) and makes many trips to the mountain where it finds plenty of use as a mount for use with the rifle stock mounted spotter and iPhone camera. Each shot can be video'd by the spotter. If I'm alone a remotely controlled GO-PRO is used with the spotter.

She's a keeper and has value equal or more to the cost.
