This is the fourth dispatched problem that I blew out of the trees in my back yard this year. biggest was 26.2 pounds. this one was 22.4 just before the 22 lr hit it right between the eyes They are very destructive!

I don't see a nose on it like a racoon has, it has a flat face. Yeah, maybe it's too tall for a badger, but to wide for a coon. Maybe a hybrid

I do need bifocals though, there is that.

Bottom line is I have weird critters on cam time to time!

mammals and birds fluff up to stay warm and makes them appear to be bigger. Coons try to fatten up like bears. Coons don't hibernate per say, but to make it through the winter they go into inactivity all denned up. My friends in Arkansas catch them live and fatten them up for later eating in cages at home.

Like others have stated. That is one very large, very fat, very furry RACOON!! Ringed tail, and black mask a dead giveaway.

That is one well fed Coon, I bet he/she weighs 40 pounds maybe more, my old Airedale used catch some big ones but nothing like that.
