Anyone with quickload that can give me some muzzle pressure numbers?

300rum- 215 berger bullet- adg brass- cci mag primer are the constants

Powders would be h1000 or retumbo, barrel lengths in question are 20,22,24,&26

Toss in a max charge of powder(65000 psi chamber pressure) and let me know what kind of theoretical pressure is at the muzzle.

Trying to get an idea for a ti, f1 suppressor.

Thanks again.

Let's try 3.6" and 3.8", maybe as long as 3.95"? Coal-- for std box and extended box -- I'm still in the stages of figuring out what I want to buy/build/modify

I had someone help and I calculated i could shoot an 18" 300wsm with 215 bergers/rl26 (came out to 16350 psi at muzzle for that rifle) so for a safety factor I limited myself to 20" in 300wsm

I'm thinking I probably need to stay at 24"+ in the 300 rum

I am interested......why do you want to know the muzzle pressure?

Also, it would help to have the H2O capacity of the case.

3.6" COAL w/ 89.9 grains H1000
20" - 17858
22" - 15883
24" - 14263
26" - 12919

3.8 " COAL w/ 92.2 grains H1000
20" - 18481
22" - 16401
24" - 14723
26" - 13331

3.95" COAL w/ 93.8 grains H1000
20" - 18886
22" - 16777
24" - 15057

All data was derived using QL preset H2O capacity of 112.5 grains.

Nice gesture…that is alot of powder

As stated in the original post-- I know the safe working pressure limits of my ti tube f1, so by knowing the "uncorking pressure"- or muzzle pressure, I can calculate the blast chamber pressure to make sure I'm withing the safe working limits of my components

Sorry, I missed that this morning....hadn't had my coffee yet

Thank you very much-- appreciate your time and info

Looks like minimum would be around 22-- add in a safety factor and 24 would be gtg
