It's my understanding that the LA TL3 shares the same tenon as the origin (SA/MA/LA). A short action TL3 barrel would require you to have the Hunts Long Range recoil lug to use on an origin. I'd verify with Big Horn to be sure.

Yes…zero problems using my TL3 barrels on my Origin actions with the HLR lug.
