Primos Trigger Stick freezing up

Anyone ever had problems in sub-zero temps? Cold weather is when I need it the most.

When I get it to warmer temps it works good again, what's up?
It is only two years old.

There was a thread about them getting rusty because the leg joints face upwards and water can get in and has no way to get out. Maybe yours has water inside and it is freezing up ???
Maybe drill a small drain hole in the bottom to let the water out.
