A friend of mine passed away and his wife is wanting to sell off his firearms. There are 2 in particular that I am needing fair market value for

1. Ruger number 1 stainless with laminate stock in 405 win
2. Colt series 70 1911, nickel plated.

Sad event but kudos on you for helping her. I say throw both of those up on Gunbroker as they are some what collectable.
