Prefit barrel lead times

Curious what everyone else ran into for lead times?
I'm not here to name drop and won't but I'm 17 weeks out on a prefit for my terminus action on a barrel that was in stock. I was told should have it well before start of new year but am still being told I'm weeks out as of today.
This is my first build so I'm just curious if this is the normal as I've seen other similar complaints or if this is actually unacceptable.

Sorry to hear that… if it's not a special order barrel, Bugholes usually ships in 4-6 weeks or less.
Never an issue with the work or the time…

I've received a couple carbon custom prefit barrels in 8-10 weeks from one of the better known companies.

I got a proof pre-fit for an origin within a week from stocky's

McGowan just did one for me in 4 weeks but was quoted longer. Great first experience with these folks.
