This is an ultimate hunting build that I won't get to finish. Started with a pre-64 action off an M70 with a damaged barrel and stock. Action was trued and bolt lugs squared to it by High Speed Shooting Systems out of Yakima, Wa. At the same time a new Krieger SS 5R 1-10 twist barrel was installed and chambered in 30-06. Finished at 22.5" and threaded 5/8X24 tpi with a knurled endcap that acts as a protector for the crown when installed. Barrel contour is a Krieger Standard Palma (#15) which is roughly equivalent to a Rem varmint contour, .86" at the muzzle. Unfired since the work was performed. Trigger has been replaced with a Supergrade trigger, original can be included at no extra cost. Stock is a Bell & Carlson Carbelite, floorplate area had to be carved up a bit to fit. Could still use some work, or run it as it is. Generic rings and bases will be included, if desired. Please contact me via PM for questions/offers or possible trades.
